What is positivity? It is the practice of seeing the good in everything despite the negativity. Well that’s how I see it at least.
The best way I ever had it explained to me is, you can look at it as a coin. There are two sides to a coin. Positivity is one side of the coin and negativity is the other. You can choose to see life one way or the other. Yes, it is a choice. We cannot blame others for the way we see the world. Despite what is happening around us, you can choose to see the best or the worst of the situation.
I am not afforded a rich life in the sense of money. I never have been. I do not base the richness of my life in this way. The way I see my life is, I’ve been afforded many blessings. I am healthy and happy, I have a job, and I have family and friends who love me. I suppose this is more than what some have. This is what makes my life rich. Even though I’ve had my share of hardships, I have decided, it will make me a stronger person, because I try and learn and so gain from the experience.
If today was my last day on earth, how would I make the best of this day? Even if some bad things happened, I certainly wouldn’t let that stand in my way of searching for the best.
You can spend time dwelling on the negative and complaining that nothing ever goes your way. Well let’s be fair, nothing ever goes anyone’s way, completely. That’s life. How you choose to spend the day is up to you.
Have a look at the bright side of the coin. You might just see life in a whole new light.
