Staying home, we have graduated to a new world together. We have found new ways of sharing and understanding each other, increasing the connection to a wider world. We’ve realized we can do more with less, and there’s no going back. Welcome to the summer of simple pleasures.
Thankfully, we have received some desperately needed rain. Canadian Tire and Food Basics in Lindsay had lakes instead of parking lots, with water up to the bumpers of cars. Either a feast or a famine.

July 12th was the 6th Sunday after Pentecost. The message from Matthew 13 was to “Listen to the Sower of Seeds”. There is a significant difference between listening and hearing. To listen with your ears and an open heart brings understanding. During this week spread the seeds of hope, love and grace to others.
Coincidentally, July 18th, is World Listening Day. This day is to raise awareness and focus on understanding the World and its natural environment, cultures and societies through listening.
