UXBRIDGE: The Township of Uxbridge is gearing up for a thrilling Bike Month this June, inviting residents to embrace cycling, ditch their car rides, and discover a new hobby.
The Uxbridge Active Transportation Committee is leading the charge, encouraging everyone to get on their bikes and join the festivities.
A highlight of this year’s celebration is the Uxbridge Bike Month Bingo, available for download on the Township website. The Bingo card boasts 24 bike-related activities, offering a fun and engaging way for participants to immerse themselves in cycling. Participants can win exciting prizes, by submitting photos of themselves completing these activities. Prizes include gift certificates to Boyd’s Sports or Cycle Solutions, with $50 for first place, $30 for second, and $20 for third.
Each photo submission counts as an entry, and the more activities completed, the higher the chances of winning. The first 50 participants to submit an entry will receive bonus prizes. To enter, email photos to info@uxbridge.ca, with “Bike Month Bingo” in the subject line. The contest is open to all ages, and no purchase or registration is necessary.
