SCUGOG: Come on out to the Blackstock Fair, where all the action happens in one day. This is our 155th Fair, and to mark the occasion, we are offering free admission to the Fair on Saturday, August 27th, 2022.
New to the Fair this year is the Blackstock Fair Market in the Arena (11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), where you will find vendors offering local produce, artisanal creations, Tupperware, and plants.
Also new, come try your hand at axe-throwing offered by Lumber Jax Axe Throwing. The always popular Kids’ World offers FREE activities like face painting, corn play table, toddlers’ play area, hay obstacle course, the Pedal Tractor Pull, and for $10, you can purchase a play all-day wristband for Air Bounce Inflatables.
Come see beef and dairy cattle, horses, sheep, 4H shows, and learn from our local farmers the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. There will also be musical entertainment, jugglers, and food vendors on the grounds.
At 4:30, gates will open for the smash and crash Demolition Derby that starts at 7 p.m. Admission to the Demo Derby is $10 per adult, $5 for children 6-12, and preschoolers are free. Our Beer Tent will be opening at 5 p.m. for cold refreshments.
