“A Thank You Ride By” in support of Health Care and First Responders took place on Friday (April 18th) at 6:30 p.m., in Port Perry. It was organized by Craig Beacock and Donna Herold. There were well over 100 vehicles, including 2 ambulances, a food truck, 2 cruisers, volunteer fireman and a Tim Horton’s truck. They drove from the Pentecostal Church and the Community Centre, down to Simcoe Street, past Port Perry Villa, and past the Hospital. People were on the lawns banging pots and waving, waving from their windows, and nurses and doctors outside waving in gratitude at the hospital. Thank you to the organizers and all those who participated. It was an emotional experience. Happy Birthday wishes to Linda Buscher on the 23rd, Jonathon Feyen on the 25th, Margaret Real on the 26th, and Bert Hutcheon on the 28th. This is the second week after Easter Sunday. As it states in the Scripture, John 20:19, “Jesus came and stood amongst the disciples who were locked in their houses out of fear, and said, ‘Peace be with you’”. We say to you, may Peace be in your hearts at this difficult time. You may view Minister Stephanie’s services on our website at seagrave-church.com.
