We are united by the heartwarming signs of spring, bringing us nature’s palette of colours and hope. The array of colours displayed in the spring flowers, the lush shades of green, the clear brilliant blue skies, the panoramic shades of pink in the sunsets, the brightness of the twinkling stars, and of course the trillium’s that are carpeting the forest floors, sharing an emblem that unites us all, are the endless brush strokes of nature. Minister Stephanie and Bill Richmond thank God for the safe arrival of their new grandson, Brady Stephan Timbers, born May 23rd, 2020, weighing in at 7 lbs. 1 oz. Happy Birthday wishes to Marcia Parker on the 29th of May. Happy Anniversary wishes to John and Joanne Olivero on the 27th of May. We pray for Ken Short and Lorne Dann, who are in the hospital, and all others with health issues. Thank you to those who have been faithfully maintaining the outdoor food banks at Seagrave and Greenbank Churches. Hand sanitizer is provided, and we ask that you please keep your distance. Take what you need, give what you can. Any excess food will be donated to the Operation Scugog Food Bank. Thank you to the Good Samaritan who placed mulch on the Seagrave Church flowerbed. The Taste of Community continues to thrive, serving over 300 donated meals, many in our hamlet, much to their surprise and delight. This is the seventh week after Easter and is the end of the Liturgical season. The Scripture, John 17:1-26 is Jesus’ longest recorded prayer. Verse 26, which is His prayer for all believers, reads: “I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them”.
