Less than seven minutes into the second period, the Ice struck again, making it a 2-1 game. The game would remain that score until late in the period. 14 and a half minutes in, Johannes Kalm capitalized on a Lumberjack power play, tying the game 2-2. Then, a little over a minute later, Andrew Naccarato-Soule scored his fifth goal of the season, giving the Lumberjacks a one-goal lead.

Nearly eight minutes into the third, Austin Fata extended the score to 4-2, with a power play goal. The Ice would score late in the period, but the Lumberjacks held on to win 4-3.

On Sunday, October 6th, the Lumberjacks hosted the Uxbridge Bruins, at Scugog Arena. It didn’t take long for the first goal to be scored. Just 55 seconds in, Braedyn Vannetten shot the puck past the Uxbridge goaltender, putting the Lumberjacks on top 1-0. The Bruins tied the game three minutes later. Then, 11 and a half minutes in, Naccarato-Soule scored, to make it a 2-1 game.
