BROCK: The Township of Brock is advising Beaverton residents there will be rock blasting occurring in the town, on or around August 23rd.
In a press release sent out on Tuesday, August 10th, the township stated, Rock Breakers Incorporated would be providing rock blasting services for the Beaverton Lake Homes Subdivision development, located near the intersection of Osbourne Road and Concession Road 5.
The Township said, rock blasting is “anticipated to continue for approximately six months.”
“Hours of blasting will be Monday to Friday during daylight hours,” the township’s press release added.
The Rock Breakers group is expected to use an air horn or siren to give blasting warning signals.
Further, to address any concerns, the township wrote, “vibration levels will be monitored and recorded by a third party in multiple locations closest to the blasting operations.”
