Since we are still in holiday mode I did my 'Things to Be Thankful For' list and checked it twice. Goes something like this. Feel free to discuss.
Appreciation for all things around you. Homes in good locations, like urban centers, waterfronts, or neighbourhoods with good schools, tend to appreciate in value more quickly.
Promoting Rental real estate investing. It can provide passive income.
Debt leverage: It can be an advantage in real estate investing.
Mortgage pay down: Paying down a mortgage can be a positive aspect of real estate. Time to celebrate when you are Mortgage-Free.
Great Mortgage brokers like Brad Vokins. They can be awesome AND save the day.
Tax benefits: because Real estate investing can provide tax benefits.
GPS – back in the day it would take hours to plan multiple showings, especially in remote rural ares. Well, not any more.
Other tech advances. The use of E-Signing and other new tools render all the old methods obsolete. Saves hours of back and forth travel getting deals done.
Great clients. They make the job fun, and the friendlier and more flexible, the better.
Bad clients. Why not? They make the good clients look that much better AND keep us on our toes.
Good home Inspectors. They can literally save your butt by making sure the place your client is buying doesn't turn into a money pit.
Good RE lawyers. See Home Inspectors. They also shed light on situations you may have missed. But do them a favour. Don't close a deal on June 30th.
Tolerant family and friends. I can't count the number of times I got a call from a client just when we were heading out on vacation. We need to do an offer. Right Now!! Yikes.
If you're looking to thank a real estate agent, you can:
Write a review on their website or write them a personal note
Refer a client to them or many others.
Offer to be a reference
Give them a gift card, especially a gas card
Give them a gift related to their interests
Donate to a cause that's important to them
Share how much they've helped you from the heart
Write a thank you note and/or give them a personalized pen or cardholder
