SCUGOG: The Port Perry Agricultural Society presented The Port Perry Fair, celebrating 167 years of agriculture on September 1st-3rd. Held at the Fairgrounds at Old Simcoe Rd, this timeless tradition rounded off the Labor Day Weekend with flair. Three full, jam-packed days of events thrilled the crowds, while the excitement of the rides and games created an amazing event for all. Featured events included a horse pulling competition, vintage tractor displays, FMX Motocross show, Clogging, baking contests, and more. Owen Riegling and The Steve Water's Band were among some musicians, raising the roof, as visitors sang along and stomped their feet. All ages were educated about farm life through the extensive demonstrations and events, leaving no one unsatisfied.
