UXBRIDGE: Brock Street was full of firefighters and fire vehicles on Saturday, October 5th as part of celebrations of the Township’s fire department’s 150th anniversary. The event featured the unveiling of the sculpture to honour fallen firefighters.


Firefighters crowd around the newly unveiled memorial for fallen firefighters sculpture at the Uxbridge Fire Hall on Brock Street on Saturday, October 5th. The sculpture unveiling was part of celebrations of the Township’s fire department’s 150th anniversary and the sculpture was created by Tyler Briley.


The Uxbridge Fire Hall was filled to capacity with people on Saturday, October 5th for the 150th anniversary of the local fire department and the unveiling of the firefighter memorial statue in front of the fire hall.


Pickering-Uxbridge MPP Peter Bethlenfalvy was one of the speakers at the Uxbridge fire hall on Saturday, October 5th during celebrations of the fire department’s 150th anniversary and unveiling of the memorial sculpture.
