BROCK: The Township of Brock recently announced the return of Outdoor Movies for Summer 2024!
“Gather your family, friends, and neighbours, pack your snacks, lawn chairs, and blankets, and join us for a movie under the stars. Outdoor movies are free, and food bank donations are welcome,” read a township press release.
This year will feature a “Throwback Thursday” series showcasing movie classics.
The schedule starts this week, on Friday, June 7th, in Cannington, at the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre. On Thursday, June 20th, Shrek will be shown in Cannington. The series shifts to Sunderland Memorial Arena for movies to be determined on Friday, July 15th, and Thursday, July 25th. Additional movies are yet to be determined for Friday, August 9th, and Thursday, August 15th, at Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre in Beaverton.
In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be moved into the arena on the dry floor.
