As my last Seniors Edition of the year, I thought I’d take a moment to keep speak from the heart.
For those of you who have stuck with me for another year of Movement for Life, I sincerely thank you for taking a few minutes out of your day. I hope to continue to share knowledge with you in 2025.
I am convinced increasing age does not mean you stop doing what you love and encourage all of you to pursue your passions and chase your dream. Consequently, good health is a necessity, if you want to continue to do these things. Making choices to stay both physically and mentally active will benefit you.
So what kinds of things can a person do?
People are living longer and enjoying a better quality of life. Any form of movement is of benefit. I highly recommend strength training and firmly believe in it. This is at the top of the list for maintaining muscle mass and bone density. It’s an absolute must.
It’s difficult to summarize a years worth of information in a final 300 word article of 2024. I hope those of you who do read my work have taken bits and pieces of information and used them in your own life. I genuinely love what I do and I’m so happy I get to share it with you.
Working with my clients is a pleasure and I’m so proud to work with people from 60 to 90 years! It’s proof, anyone can benefit from exercise, if they are willing to try. That’s really the message here. I’ve learned, if you want something bad enough, you’ll take action. I look forward to being with you every step of the way.
