A little over three minutes into the first period, Johannes Kalm scored the first goal of the game. Then, ten and a half minutes in, Kyle Bailey added a goal, to make it a 2-0 Lumberjacks lead. The Bruins would strike four minutes later, cutting the lead to 2-1.

Over eight minutes into the second period, Andrew Naccarato-Soule gave the Lumberjacks a two-goal lead back, with a goal. Less than six minutes later, the Bruins would score, to make it a 3-2 game. Then, goals late in the period, from Charlie Paton and Naccarato-Soule, made it a 5-2 game after 40 minutes of play.

The Bruins would score once in the third period, but the Lumberjacks held on to win the game 5-3.

The Lumberjacks then hosted the Schomberg Cougars, at Scugog Arena, on Sunday, November 17th.

The Cougars would strike first in the game, scoring over 10 and a half minutes into the first period. With two minutes remaining on the clock, Kalm put the puck in the net, tying the game at 1-1. However, the Cougars would score just 12 seconds later, leaving the Lumberjacks trailing 2-1, after the first period.

The game would remain that score until late in the second period, when Braedyn Vannetten tied the game 2-2 with a goal.

Over nine minutes into the third period, Parker Lemay scored, giving the Lumberjacks a 3-2 lead. A late power play goal, from the Cougars, sent the game into overtime.

Fourty-seven seconds into overtime, Naccarato-Soule scored the game winning goal. The Lumberjacks won the game 4-3.
