CRAIG SCHROTER Special to The Standard
KAWARTHA LAKES: The Lindsay Muskies were back in action following the break and although they kept things close in the end they dropped a 4 to 2 decision to the Wellington Dukes. Things started off well for Lindsay when Duncan Scullion continued his hot streak with his ninth goal of the season at 3:09 from Thomas Johnston and Adam Miwa, but the Dukes replied quickly when Ben Evans scored at 4:07. The Dukes took a 2 to 1 lead in the second when Justin Paul scored at 11:08. The Muskies power play helped the Fish draw even just 34 seconds into the third when Jacob Dupuis scored his third of the year from Bryce Caruk and Mathieu Hebert, but the Dukes power play regained them the lead at 4:25 when Brodie McDougall. At 9:44 Daniel Panetta would add the insurance goal to wrap up the 4 to 2 win for the Dukes. The next action for Lindsay is Sunday afternoon in North York.
