Letter to the Editor: Help Our Neighbours!

Dear Editor,

This is a community initiative to fill the shelves of the Operation Scugog Foodbank. There will be a food drive on Saturday, December 5th, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations: Foodland, Walmart, Food Basics, Vos’ Independent and the Scugog arena, for drop off. Volunteers are working from many groups within our community. This is a cry for help to fill our trucks and trailers with food!!!! What we need: toilet paper, body wash, soap, apple juice, canned meat, canned pasta, stew, instant coffee, baking items, Christmas treats, Kraft Dinner, peanut butter, jam, cereal, canned soups, canned vegetables, stuffing, crackers, chips, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and canned tomatoes.
