Kawartha Lakes Police looking for public's help on theft case

KAWARTHA LAKES: The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is looking for the community’s help in identifying a person who stole a donation box. According to Kawartha Lakes police in a December 6th press release, on Tuesday, November 14th “police were called to [a] Lindsay Street South business. Video surveillance captured the theft of a donation box containing a sum of money. The theft occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday, November 12th.” The photo included by police appears to show a woman wearing a toque, camouflage hooded sweatshirt or coat as well as glasses. Anyone who has further information on this case is asked to phone 705-324-5252 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
