At Theatre on the Ridge, we’re keeping theatre live all the way through 2020 and we’re getting into a festive mood to celebrate with some great seasonal events and performances! On December 19th and 20th, our live production of Norm Foster’s The Christmas Tree returns outdoors to the Scugog Arts Space with Frances Loiselle and Michael Williamson. Only 40 minutes long, with hot beverages and warm blankets available, this delightful story filled with laughs, heartache and good old-fashioned Christmas spirit is the perfect break from the bustle of holiday preparations and shopping in downtown Port Perry. And we’ll be following appropriate Covid protocols in accordance to current Region of Durham health regulations and guidelines. Hot beverages and warm blankets available! All month long, you can also support Theatre on the Ridge as it keeps theatre live. Check out our online store for great gifts and gift certificates, find our artists’ handmade creations at The Scugog Arts Christmas Market or join us on Giving Tuesday, December 1st by making a donation to light the lights on our Christmas tree. Space and quantities are limited for all live events and some items, so purchase early! All details and information, including ticket sales, performance times and online store, can be found at www.theatreontheridge.ca.
