Epsom & Utica news

by Faye Ashton

On Friday, at 4:15 p.m., we were delighted to see the huge bright December moon rising above our calf barn. It was in advance of the full moon on Sunday the 15th and is called the “cold” moon.

We have been fortunate to have escaped a brutal cold winter so far.

How will you celebrate the winter solstice on Saturday? An invitation to come and experience a Christmas Eve service this Sunday, 2 p.m., at Epsom United Church, is extended to all, as we all prepare for the birth of Jesus. Fellowship to follow the service.
