How sweet this weather has been these last two weeks. The weather forecasters say rain for overnight and tomorrow. Sure hope they're right.
Wasn't that a party! Neighbours and Family gathered outdoors under a beautiful clear sky to say "Congratulations" to Pat and John Sutherland as they shared this special occasion, their 50th wedding anniversary. A delicious, bountiful meal and a tribute toast by both Pat and John were immensely enjoyed. We wish Pat and John more years of wedded bliss.
Remember everyone to celebrate these milestones, they only come around once. Bethesda-Reach Women's Institute's dessert and fashion show is this Thursday, September 26th, at 7 p.m. at the Seniors Centre, Uxbridge. Fashions by Woods Clothing and Threads Boutique. There will be an Autumn church service at the Pine Grove church on the 7th concession of Uxbridge on Sunday, October 6th at 3 p.m. Let's worship together.
This Sunday, the sacrament of communion will be shared at 10:30 a.m. at Epsom United Church. The Epsom congregation will join the Pine Grove service on October 6th, and there is no service on Thanksgiving Sunday at Epsom. Church will resume at Epsom on Sunday, October 20th, with Rev. John McManiman presiding.
