Come out to a concert in the park in Bobcaygeon on Thursday, August 22nd. The Children's Concert is at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Four Lanes Wide will be performing. Come out and enjoy a summer evening at the water, listening to live music. This will be the last concert of the summer so bring your family, friends, children and a lawn chair. The concert will be held at Lock 32 Pavilion, 11 Bolton Street, in Bobcaygeon.
Come out to get your fresh fruits and vegetables at the Farmers Market in Bobcaygeon. The market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., until October 7th, at 47 Mansfield Street, in Bobcaygeon.

Kawartha Lakes Classic will host the 21st Annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour this Saturday, August 24th, in support of A Place Called Home (APCH). The fundraiser runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting at The Salvation Army Lindsay Community Church, 51 Eglinton Street, in Lindsay.
The Lakes classic cycling tour is a non-competitive cycling tour of Cherokee lakes with Scenic and fully supported 20 km, 40 km, 50 km, 106 km and 160 km trail routes. Lunch will be provided by Boston Pizza.
The Kawartha Lakes Classic provides 100 percent of the annual funding to feed the homeless of the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton.
APCH’s Emergency Shelter provides support to hundreds of men, women and families each year and the proceeds from this event go directly to supporting those most vulnerable in our community.
APCH is a charitable, non-profit organization that has been providing 24/7 support services to the homeless, and those at risk of becoming homeless, for over 25 years in the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County.
APCH operates a 19-bed emergency shelter for youths, adults, couples and families providing shelter along with meals, laundry facilities and the counselling needed to find permanent solutions to their challenges.
