Kawartha Lakes Public Library, in Bobcaygeon, is hosting an exciting drop-in for teens on Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This is specifically designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16, with a variety of fun activities.
Celebrate International Women's Day on Friday, February 28th from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Pyed Monk, 8 Cambridge Street North, in Lindsay. Camille Williams-Taylor will be speaking in the CL Baker Room (second floor), on leadership. Don't miss out on this exciting event.
Come out for an exciting day in the outdoors, hiking at Ken Reid Conservation Area, 277 Ken Reid Road, Kawartha Lakes. This event is called the Sleeping Forest, and we will be identifying trees without their leaves on March 1st. The location is Ken Reid Conservation Area, Lindsay, from 10 a.m. to noon. This is a family-friendly event. Bundle up and enjoy the stark winter beauty of the forest in the conservation area. We will explore the many distinctions present in the forest. Bring binoculars if you have them, and dress warmly for the weather to join us for a leisurely hike among the trees.
