Big changes start with small steps

As we know, a lot can happen in a year. I feel big things and changes are coming in 2025. I can feel the excitement. I am grateful for all my adventures and challenges, pushing myself beyond my physical and emotional limits. I am a Christian warrior, a child of God, and I've got this victory. I am a winner, and so are you. We need to affirm our confidence in God's power and ability to overcome any obstacle.

Complete a tiny thing; it can take as little as five minutes. Think of what area of your life you want to change. Life will keep moving forward, regardless. Concerns and difficulties, whether financial, bad relationships, or health concerns, pick one thing, and say enough is enough; remind yourself daily and trust God. It's important to change that "old" mindset, set some boundaries, be assertive, and set yourself some reminders. Sticky notes plastered around your house are great. Change how you talk to yourself. Stop the negative talk and put yourself first, after God, of course.

More importantly, stop the excuses like, 'I don't have the time to eat properly,' or 'I have no money, so using my charge card, that's maxed out, is okay.' or not taking your health as seriously as you should, a.k.a., my body aches, my knees hurt, or I will start tomorrow. Today, now, this moment is the time to change those negative thought patterns.

Enjoy the daily mundane things; you will find security in them. There is reason for joy, happiness, and sorrow. God is the author and is firmly planted. I understand joy does not equal laughter. But laughter is a great way to get through everyday life. Life is what you make it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We are all broken inside.

Your brokenness is a part of your personality, a broken pot that needs more water. Trust in God.

Consider this life - boot camp! I can't even walk without him.

Remember, His grace is for you and me. I finally understand God is in the interruptions in my life. I walk by faith. As I walk, stumble and fall daily, I remind myself God does not make mistakes and He directs my steps as we are all trying to find our way home. He made you and me special and unique for us to accomplish what he wants for us, and be the best we can be.
