Bakersville Opens on Saturday!

TRACY PASTIC Special to The Standard SCUGOG: Bakersville - The Animated Gingerbread Village, is back at Scugog Memorial Public Library! The display opens this Saturday, December 2nd and runs until closing Wednesday, January 3rd.

Our volunteers have been busy this week putting the village together using all of the creations brought in by community members. Last year, we had over 60 amazing entries, and again, we are overwhelmed by the fantastic community support for this event.

This year marks the 26th anniversary of this unique village, and we are very excited to share this wonderful event with everyone. Admission is free.
