I hope students, teachers and school staff are enjoying their well-deserved April break, which had been rescheduled from March.
Like many businesses and organizations, The Blackstock Co-op Nursery School has been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The non-profit nursery has had to rely on several smaller and/or online fundraising efforts and the generosity of the community. Special thanks to the Blackstock Cartwright Lions Club Blackstock Motorsports for their recent donations of $500 and $1000 respectively.

The Blackstock Co-op Nursery School’s (BCNS) fundraiser for Spring 2021 is well underway and running through until the end of May.

The BCNS Plantables School Fundraising Program is about as pandemic safe a fundraiser can get with delivery of herbs, fruit and vegetable plants directly to your mailbox or front door.

Visit the Plantables website directly at https://plantables.ca. Select your choice of garden-ready herbs, fruit and vegetables.

Be sure to enter the code: BCNS2021 at checkout. Then choose your delivery week and your plants are delivered to your front door! BCNS received 10% from every order.

The “Second Annual Spring Into Happiness” is in full swing with a “Flower Foraging” theme. I’ve seen many more decorated windows around town.

Join in the fun by putting up a single flower, covering your window in a full bouquet, or just get out for a stroll around the neighbourhood to enjoy the creativity.
