SCUGOG: The Township of Scugog is gearing up to host two August Movie Nights in the Park! Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and join us in Palmer Park for two unforgettable Movie Nights on Tuesday, August 13th and Wednesday, August 21st.

This year’s movies are sure to entertain! Movie Nights kicks off on August 13th with the 2019 live-action remake of Dumbo, a charming, heartwarming movie about a circus elephant calf whose big ears give him the ability to fly. Movie Night in the park continues on August 21st with the classic film A League of Their Own, a movie about women overcoming prejudice and playing baseball in the big leagues during the period of the Second World War.

The Movie Nights are free and will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Showtimes are subject to change depending on the brightness of the sky. Arrive early to enjoy fantastic vendors, participate in pre-show trivia and find a cozy spot to watch the movie!

Enjoy the movies with your entire family, though, movies are rated PG and parental discretion is advised. Movie-goers are reminded to dress for the weather and that seating will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. The Township of Scugog’s Movie Nights in Palmer Park will not proceed in the event of adverse weather conditions.

This event is sponsored by CUPE 1764.
